About me

Katie believes that tomfoolery is going to save the world. It’s important to laugh at anything and everything because when we laugh at something we take away its power over us. That’s why with all that’s going on we all need to laugh now more than ever.

Katie grew up in a small town in North Eastern Pennsylvania called Clarks Summit. There she learned to sing, dance, and act, of course, but most importantly it’s where she learned to laugh. She moved to Philadelphia where she continued to make loud, fun things for 7 years.

Then Katie moved to New York City where she has been currently residing for the past year. She is most excited by developing characters in new works where she can create their physical life from the ground up.

When Katie isn’t performing she can be found loitering in a paper source, annotating Jane Austen novels, playing guitar, extreme speed walking, or scouring the city for the perfect London Fog.

Her most recent Off-Broadway credits include playing Cass in the brand new musical Wildrness! by Rona Moriah and Olivia Berkson at The Classic Stage Company and Gail in the new play Packed by Elise Wilkes at the AMT theater.
